Position: Lecturer in Opthamology
School: School of Health Sciences
Employment Type: One Year (1) Contract. (Renewable.)

Qualifications and Requirements
1.
A relevant Bachelor`s
degree or its equivalent from a recognized University;
- A
Master`s degree or its
equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized University/College is mandatory;
- Relevant
professional qualifications and registration with the appropriate
professional body;
- Relevant
teaching and clinical experience is preferred;
- Evidence
of research and scholarly activities will be an added advantage;
- Must
satisfy requirements of chapter 6of the Kenyan Constitution.
Duties list
1. Teaching and facilitating learning in psychiatry-related courses;
2. Attend and participate in seminars, workshops and conference in relevant fields;
3. Conducting assessments and evaluating students' academic progress;
4. Supervising students during practical/clinical training;
5. Participating in research and scholarly activities;
6. Providing academic guidance and mentorship to students;
7. Participate in departmental and School Board meetings and other activities;
8. Performing any other duties as assigned by the University.
