SENIOR STUDENT COUNSELOR II – GRADE ELEVEN (11)
Academic / Professional Requirements
a) Master’s degree in Counseling/ Clinical Psychology, Psychology, or its equivalent
b) Be registered by relevant professional body.
c) 3 years’ experience as a Student Counselor I
a) Prepare and develop a comprehensive counseling plan.
b) Prepare and administer questionnaires for new students for use in counseling.
c) Liaise with academic advisors in identifying the students who need counseling and make the necessary arrangements to help them.
d) Prepare and keep accurate records of counseling services at the University
e) Recommend students for work-study programme.
f) Carry out psychological assessment and diagnosis to staff and students
g) Supervise staff under them.
Any other official duties assigned by immediate supervisor
Terms and Conditions
The above positions carry remuneration packages which include basic salary, medical cover, house allowance, transport and leave allowance.
