Reports to: Immediate Supervisor
Duties and responsibilities
An officer in this level is responsible for:
Driving University vehicles
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness
Reporting any vehicle defects to immediate supervisor
Observing vehicle preventive maintenance
Adhere closely to the highway code
Be courteous and professional in dealing with passengers
Ensuring work-tickets authorized.
Provide daily preventive maintenance of vehicles
Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade one must have:
Diploma in a relevant field
Emergency Medical Technician certificate course
KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification
Valid Driving License Class D1 with PSV endorsement
Passed Occupational Trade Test I for PSV drivers
Certificate of good conduct
At least six (6) years working experience
Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations
St. John’s Ambulance training or Kenya Red Cross emergency training will be an added advantage
