KISII UNIVERSITY
RECRUITMENT OF PROSPECTIVE PART-TIME LECTURERS
Kisii University was established by Legal Notice No 225 issued in accordance with the University Act No. 42 of 2012 and published as Kisii University on 6th February, 2013. The University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to take up part time teaching positions in the following fields; Agriculture, Arts and Social Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Information Technology, Natural Sciences, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Medical and related fields.
The University intends to establish a database for qualified part time lecturers from which lecturers would be drawn as and when required.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
• Doctorate degree or a Master’s degree in the relevant area of specialization from a recognized University; All applicants’ qualifications (degrees) must be in the same field.
• At least two (2) years teaching experience in a University.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
1. Candidates to submit two (2) hard copy applications.
2. Interested applicants should provide the following information: Area of specialization, Academic qualifications, Work experience and Current work place.
3. All applications should be submitted together with a detailed Curriculum Vitae, a copy of ID/Passport, certified copies of academic certificates, testimonials, letters of appointment as lecturers and other relevant supporting document. Lack of evidence supporting University teaching experience will lead to disqualification.
4. Applicants with foreign qualifications will be required to attach verification certificates from Commission for University Education (CUE).
5. All applications should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked ‘Part time Application’ and addressed to:
